SIS Dean Jim Goldgeier will moderate a discussion entitled, “Building Blocks for Making a Meaningful Difference” featuring John Prendergast, SIS/MA '90,  as part of the SIS Dean’s Discussion Series. 

John Predergast is a human rights activist and best-selling author who has worked for peace in Africa for almost thirty years. He is the Co-Founder of the Enough Project, which fights to end genocide and crimes against humanity affiliated with the Center for American Progress. He also helped create the Satellite Sentinel Project, an initiative to deter a return to full-scale civil war between northern and southern Sudan, which he co- founded with actor, George Clooney. John has previously worked with the Clinton White House, the State Department, UNICEF, and the US Institute of Peace, to name a few.
