The AU Alumni Association's distinguished alumni speaker series, Alumni in the KNOW, incorporates a unique opportunity to explore the professional paths of AU's decorated and accomplished alumni, stimulates career development interest in future alumni, and connects prominent alumni with the AU community.

We are pleased to celebrate the second speaker of the 2013-2014 academic year: Daniel Robinson SIS/BA '79, Chief White House Correspondent for Voice of America.

Dan Robinson has been Voice of America's Senior White House Correspondent since 2010. Voice of America is the official external radio and television broadcasting service of the United States federal government and is one of five civilian U.S. international broadcasters working under the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Before Voice of America, Mr. Robinson worked on Capitol Hill where he covered the House of Representatives from 2002 to 2009. He is also a former bureau chief for VOA in Southeast Asia, and East Africa. Mr Robinson also headed VOA's Burma broadcast service between 1997 and 2001.

This event will include a lecture-style presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.There is no charge for current AU students, faculty, staff, alumni or community members. Business casual attire requested.
