Dinner with Alumni: Sandra Walter, Kogod/BSBA '86
The Dinner with Alumni program brings students and alumni together through a series of dinners scheduled during the school year. These dinners are great career networking opportunities for students to interact with current experts in the field and will fill up fast!
You must register in order to attend.
If you are interested in the non-profit career field, then this dinner is for you. Meet an AU Alum who has been in your shoes and has now succeeded in doing what you aspire to do. Come join Sandra for dinner and a great networking event. This event is for current students only and is free to attend.
Sandra Walter, Kogod/BSBA '86
is chief strategist and principal for Sandra M. Walter and Associates Consulting, which works to strengthen the capacity of nonprofit organizations. She is currently director of development for the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation. Her clients have included the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, Autism Society of America, Capital City Charter School, and the Healthcare Distribution Management Association Foundation. Ms. Walter has held senior staff positions in development and communications at the D.C. Agenda Support Corporation, Business and Professional Women (BPW)/USA and the BPW/USA Foundation. She volunteers her time for national institutes of health and Calvary Women’s Services, a shelter for homeless women in Washington, D.C. Ms. Walter is the former secretary for the AU Alumni Association Board.
