Join us for American Women, a special lecture series highlighting the inspirational women of American University.  This event in the series features Gina Adams, SPA/BA '80, Corporate Vice President of Corporate Affairs at FedEx, with "Women in Leadership."  Moderated by award-winning journalist and and AU professor Iris Krasnow, this presentation will be followed by a dessert and coffee networking reception. 

Gina Adams, SPA/BA '80, corporative vice president for government affairs at FedEx and AU Trustee, discusses her views on leadership and experiences shaping and promoting FedEx interests with top government officials, members of Congress, and the diplomatic community.  Adams is recognized as a leader not only for her work as FedEx's top government affairs officer, but also for her leadership contributions to an impressive range of educational and service organizations across the country.  She will also share some of the highlights - and lessons learned - on her career path from AU graduate to the boardroom of one of the world's most successful corporations.

Cost to attend is $20 for alumni, parents, and friends.  No cost for AU faculty, staff, and students.
