San Francisco Volunteer Day at Glide Foundation Kitchen

This event is at capacity. Please join us next time! Join fellow Bay-area alumni, family, and friends for a day of volunteering at the Glide Foundation kitchen. Volunteers will be helping with the lunch service for the day. In a typical service shift, volunteers prepare trays and hand them to clients; those manning the floor collect trays, refill beverage pitchers, hand out condiments and wipe down tables. Most importantly, volunteers serve as a friendly and warm presence for Glide's clients. Each volunteer is required to wear closed-toe shoes and shirts with long or short sleeves (no tank tops please!). During your volunteer service you will also be wearing a hair net (or cap if you bring one with you), plastic apron and plastic gloves. Space is limited for this volunteer opportunity, so check your schedule and register today! There is no cost to attend and RSVPs must be received by February 7.
