Alfa Fellowship Program Info Session

The Alfa Fellowship Program is a high-level professional development exchange program that places up to 10 American and 5 British citizens ages 25-35 in work assignments at leading organizations in Russia in the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, and public policy.  Russian language proficiency is preferred though not required at the time of application. Melissa Graves, Alfa Fellowship Program Officer, will provide a program overview and answer questions from interested applicants for the Alfa Fellowship Monday, September 17, 5:30-6:30pm in SIS 300.  Graduate-level training and at least two years of relevant work experience strongly preferred. U.S. citizenship required.

Deadline: December 1

The fellowship includes language training, seminar programs, and extended professional experience. Fellows receive travel, housing, monthly stipends, and insurance.

The Office of Merit Awards supports student and alumni applicants for both opportunities by providing information sessions, extensive Blackboard sites, and advising appointments.  Can't attend? Call 202-885-1854 to make an appointment with an advisor.
