Join fellow alumni, family, and friends in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for a Policy and a Pint discussion sponsored by The Citizens League and The Current.
During this election season, we hear candidates talk a lot about "small business". Come hear some Twin Cities entrepreneurs talk about the rewards and struggles of striking out on your own in these tough economic times. Does a new generation of American worker need to be thinking more about creating its own unique products or services when the struggle for jobs is tougher than ever? And how does government help, or stand in the way? Join Steve Seel and guests, including Kevin Beacham from Rhymesayers Entertainment and John Oulman from the 331 Club, Amsterdam Bar and Hall, and Jon Oulman Salon. It'll be a lively discussion over a tasty beverage.
Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot. Registration will close on or before October 5. The cost is $10 per person to attend.
