Golden Eagles

American University’s Golden Eagles are alumni who first graduated from AU 50 or more years ago. Golden Eagles gather annually to celebrate the induction of the newest class to join the group, a shining example of the connections that exist between the many generations of AU alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends.

Support the Golden Eagles Fund in Honor of Your Lifetime Association with AU

Alumni marking their 50th reunion are encouraged to celebrate their ongoing AU affiliation with a donation to the Golden Eagles Fund and to renew their generous support each subsequent reunion year. The Golden Eagles Fund will provide scholarship support to help future generations of American University students pursue their academic dreams.

An anonymous graduate from the Class of 1965 has offered to match up to $20,000 in contributions to the Golden Eagles Fund this year.  With your support, the Golden Eagles Fund can become a permanent scholarship opportunity for students seeking a high-quality education at AU.
