Eagles Nest Welcomes New Students 2015
The Eagles Nest, AU's faculty and staff alumni network, will unite to welcome AU's newest Eagles, the Class of 2019!  Join us for t-shirt giveaways for over 1,700 new students, and then help us cheer them on as they process into Bender Arena.

It's Spirit Day!  As we end Welcome Week 2015 and usher over 1,700 new Eagles into the flock, wear your favorite AU paraphernalia, and join your fellow faculty and staff alumni for lunch.  This is a free event, but RSVP is preferred.

AU's Night at Nationals Park

Celebrate the fourth year of AU at Nationals Park when American University will be front and center as the Washington Nationals host the Miami Marlins. Join fellow alumni, current students, and friends for a picnic dinner at the ballpark before the game, when an AU alumnus will throw the first pitch before the Nats take on the Marlins. Tickets are $25.00 each.

Colloquium on Scholarly Communication- Chris Kenneally
Chris Kenneally, Director, Business Development of the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) will present at our first Colloquium on Scholarly Communication of the academic year. Kenneally is responsible for organizing and hosting programs at the CCC that address the business needs of authors of all backgrounds, from academics to freelancers.
