How to Think Like an Entrepreneur with Profs. Tommy White and Bill Bellows

« Back
Are you an entrepreneur, a manager or a technician? Do you look at life in terms of what you do or why you do it? When you read the news, do you shake your head in frustration at the problems you read about or do you make a list of business opportunities those problems offer?  Do you plan things over and over as a form of procrastination or do you get excited at the adventure of creating something from just an idea and a series of calculated risks?

These are the questions we all face when considering whether we have the mindset and ambition to become an entrepreneur and start our own company.  Join Professor Tommy White and Professor Bill Bellows, two experienced Kogod faculty entrepreneurs, to learn more about the process to identify problems (i.e. opportunities), generate business-viable ideas, and move to a proof-of-concept stage.  The evening will include a networking reception with hors d'oeuvres and beverages, an informative presentation, interactive exercises, and an extended question and answer session.

Cost to attend is $20 for alumni and $10 for young alumni. There is no cost for AU students, faculty, and staff.

Please RSVP by Monday, November 18.
