SIS Alumni in the Atrium: Kevin Taecker, SIS/BA '71

The School of International Service, in partnership with the AU Career Center, feature select alumni a few times a month in the beautiful SIS atrium as part of the Alumni in the Atrium series. An alumnus/a sits in the atrium on a Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 to speak with students about careers, internships, interviewing tips, and networking skills.

Kevin Taecker, SIS/BA '71, has a long, successful history in international economic affairs. Currently, Mr. Taecker serves as an independent consultant for government agencies regarding financial and fiscal challenges. Prior, Mr. Taecker held senior positions at the US State Department, as senior advisor for Iraq economic affairs, and at the US Treasury Department, as senior consultant for financial and fiscal affairs at the Embassy of Baghdad. His other positions include principal at Enterprise, Saudi Arabia, chief economist and treasury line manager at Saudi American Bank, and international economist at the US Treasury Department.
