SIS Alumni in the Atrium: Tom Pevehouse, SIS/MA '11
The School of International Service, in partnership with the AU Career Center and the SIS Alumni Chapter, feature select alumni in the SIS Atrium as part of the Alumni in the Atrium Series. An SIS alumnus/a sits in the atrium on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. to speak with students about careers, internships, interviewing tips, and networking skills.
Books that Shaped America: Common Sense
Common Sense, written by Thomas Paine in 1776, spoke to the common people of America and was the first work to openly ask for independence from Great Britain. Professor Richard Wilson from the Washington College of Law will lead the discussion of this historical work.
