American University Entertainment and Media Alumni Alliance

With more than 10,000 alumni trained in entertainment and media, the American University Entertainment and Media Alumni Alliance (EMAA) aims to create a lifelong and worldwide community of AU alumni with current and aspiring careers in motion pictures, music, television, and theater, as well as news, public communication, journalism, documentaries, and service to these industries.

What We Do

There are many ways AU alumni can help strengthen their connections through the EMAA:

  • Gain access to more than 10,000 AU alumni through social media
  • Encourage alumni and friends of AU to maintain an active interest in the University and the EMAA through volunteerism, advocacy, and philanthropy
  • Initiate and promote social, service, family, and career activities to connect alumni and students
  • Encourage prospective students to consider AU for their undergraduate or graduate education
  • Post and review jobs and special assignments through the online alumni communities

Get Involved

EMAA is currently seeking Alumni Volunteers who want to be involved in this engagement opportunity. From leading the way to planning events and spreading the word, there’s a place on the EMAA Leadership Circle for everyone to be involved.

Join EMMA on Facebook and LinkedIn to connect to other alumni and stay updated on events and meetings.
